Facebook Fix: Clear Chat History on the New Facebook Chat; New Facebook Feature: Facebook E-mail!

Facebook has now added new features to its site. Here are some of the newly implemented features:

• You can now tag people in a comment. When someone tags you a notification will popup saying "*Friend Name* mentioned you in a comment..."
• Comments are now easier to post. Rather than clicking reply you'll just have to press Enter. To enter a new line in the comment simply press Shift+Enter.
• The New Facebook Message allows you to store your chat messages, your messages and the messages sent to your Facebook E-mail. Speaking of which, you can now own a Facebook E-Mail. You can only own one e-mail and it will be based from your username, and so your e-mail should be username@facebook.com. This will only happen once you've switched to the new facebook message. When you click message, it will be displayed on top saying you can activate your facebook e-mail. Mine is activated already so I cannot post snapshots here. By the way messages sent through your e-mail will be placed on the Others folder.
• The New Facebook Message also allows you to forward messages to your phone, though I haven't tried that yet. They also provide the quick reply (Press Enter to post reply).
• The New Facebook Message integrates your chat messages to your Facebook Inbox, so you could reply to them even on your Facebook Message Inbox.
• There is just one problem to the new Facebook Chat. Before you could just press Clear Chat History in order to remove your Chat History. Now they only provide the button Clear Window which doesn't clear your chat history at all. Maybe someday they will put it back. But for now you might wanna try these steps. *Requires the new facebook message, though I'm not sure if it works with the old one.*

1. Click Messages in your Facebook Home Page. With the new Facebook Message you should see something like this.

2. Select your Friend's name.

3. At the top right portion, select Actions > Delete Messages

4. There should be choices below. You may delete all, or just check those boxes and click delete selected.

5. It should be deleted from your chat and your message.

6. And that's it! For now that's one possible way to clear your chat history.
